The EUCEDIC focuses on identifying and disseminating best practices for implementing digital technologies in construction projects, developing and testing new tools and techniques, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders to drive innovation and progress, and supporting start-ups with innovative and disruptive ideas to accelerate change.

MEMBERS AND PARTNERS

The EUCEDIC is proudly supported by some of Europe’s top public and private industry leaders, as well as a number of innovative emerging companies who are disrupting the market with their fresh ideas and cutting-edge developments.

Members are organizations that formally sign the Statutes and become an integral part of the governing structure of the CoE. They actively contribute to the strategic direction, collaborative initiatives, and decision-making processes.

Becoming a Partner or a Supporter of the EUCEDIC offers different levels of engagement and commitment. The distinction ensures flexibility, allowing organizations to engage with EUCEDIC at different levels based on their interests, resources, and long-term commitment.

Partners, are organizations that engage with EUCEDIC for a long-standing collaboration and have specific rights and obligations based on their category, as determined by the Board, including potential partnership fees and defined levels of contribution to EUCEDIC’s activities. They can participate in activities, benefit from knowledge exchange, and collaborate on projects, but they do not have governance rights or decision-making authority.

Supporters engage with EUCEDIC for a punctual collaboration. Support may serve as a stepping stone for organizations interested in deeper collaboration before committing as full Partners.

DIGITWIN4CIUE project

Digital Twins for Complex Infrastructures and Urban Ecosystems, DIGITWINS4CIUE, is a project co funded by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA),  under the Digital Europe Programme.

The project is partnered by four leading European universities in the fields of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Computer Sciences: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Escuela de Caminos), École nationale des ponts et chausséesBudapest University of Technology and Economics and the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest.

The four universities are proud members of EELISA, the first alliance of Higher Education Institutions (graduate engineering schools, technology universities and full-spectrum universities) across Europe meant to define and implement a common model of European engineer rooted in society.

The project is also participated by three SMEs, which point of common is their contribution to the digital transformation of the engineering sector thanks to their innovative solutions and services: Nommon, Tyris AI and Altametris.

OBJECTIVE

This project aims to transform civil engineering and the built environment into a more digital and sustainable industry by accelerating the adoption of new digital technologies and utilizing digital twins of infrastructures.

Vision

  1. Lead Digital Transformation: Become a hub for digital innovation in civil engineering and construction, promoting sustainability and advanced technologies.
  2. Promote Digital Adoption: Encourage the use of digital tools across the construction sector, from large corporations to SMEs.
  3. Foster Collaboration: Build a culture of collaboration between academia and industry to drive innovation and develop sustainable, efficient construction practices.
