As a white Scot, I’d far rather have those asylum seekers as my fellow Glaswegians than those fat, white racist bastards who add zero to our city or cultural life, only detract from it.

When I came to Glasgow I hated both sides of the sectarian divide. But it's become so clear now. When Celtic win, there's always a great atmosphere in town; when Rangers win there's a horrible, threatening, drunk one and eejits causing real damage.

If you believe Eddie Izzard suddenly transformed into a woman overnight because he says so and wears make-up and high heels, and you cannot understand just how offensive this is to women who don't subscribe to sexist stereotypes, you are not "woke", "progressive" or "nice".

2/ still walking, way past the next bus stops. I have no idea how far the poor guy had to walk home, but have always been so grateful for that. He was just quietly there. There are very good people in the world, and enough of them that they're often there when you need them.

Look at that temp difference. Yet MPs in London take Scottish energy, sell it back to us at the highest prices in the world and rob pensioners, and everyone else, of any kind of allowance. Independence is normal governance.

It was the UK's coldest night of winter so far. The temperature fell to minus 13.3°C in Loch Glascarnoch, Scotland 📉 Southeast England was much milder though, with temperatures remaining in double figures in places 📈

I’ve been thinking that too. We’re going to have NHS staff coming out of this who’ve been through what must be like a war. While the rest of us are griping about being stuck inside for a few weeks. Thanks for everything you do x

Women don’t only have to move over and let men compete in their sports. They have to let them win as well. Like you would with a toddler. No signs supporting trans men to compete and win over men, funnily enough.

Funnily enough, women are equally simple. We’d also love to come home from work to a husband and kids who are grateful and have cooked us a lovely dinner, cleaned the house and have a bottle of wine open and breathing. It’s really not much to ask, is it?
