Adam has been teaching math and computer science in Massachusetts public schools since 2008 and was an early adopter of Bootstrap:Algebra and Bootstrap:Reactive with middle school students. In 2022 he transitioned to Duxbury High School, where he now teaches computer science (Intro and AP CSP), engineering, and robotics. At Duxbury, he also advises a Girls Who Code club and coaches a First Tech Challenge robotics team. Adam has served as a district technology integration specialist, was a member of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s computer science framework subcommittee, and presents nationally as a Bootstrap ambassador. A former keynote speaker at MassCUE, he continues to lead professional development for educators and advocate for inclusive, real-world computer science education. Whether in the classroom or beyond, Adam is dedicated to helping students of all ages see themselves as confident, capable creators through the lens of math, programming, and hands-on problem solving.
