🍃🍃🍃

My favorites and the things that I love are many… starting with the sweet savory strawberries in June, then the soft warm midsummer air, the salty sea breeze and waves… going on with the crisp autumn mornings and auburn afternoons, not to mention the gorgeous garden and field flowers all spring and summer through, with the cute tiny bugs and small birds… the cozy holiday time along the year, all of which I try to capture with my cameras time and again… and which I love to share!💖

I think I should also add to the mix a little drop of pure pink, warm yellow and luminous orange that I adore, a little bit more love of travelling and lots of love for writing rhyming verse. Not to mention the journey backwards and forwards in time which I engage on dreamily with each and every line I write or photo I take.

Here, the picture is almost done. The rest is for you to discover and read between the lines and photos on my posts and pages… together with me, of course!

See you around, warm wishes… and enjoy!

Nicole Sara is a bilingual poet from Romania, with a Master’s Degree in Philology and American Studies from the “Al.I.Cuza” University in Iași, Romania, which she graduated in 1997. She loves languages and performing magic with words in both playful and dreamy, insightful ways. Writing verse feels otherworldly to her, a portal towards infinite possibilities, always unexpected and liberating.

Nicole began by writing poems in Romanian in 2015, and in 2016 she also started pairing the originals with their translation into English on her blog. She finds inspiration in the beauty and intelligence of everything around.

“Rhyming Dreams”, Nicole’s debut collection of poems in English was self-published on Amazon in 2024, inspirational verse deeply rooted in personal moments and experiences but still wonderfully universal, so that one may feel taken by the hand and shown the beauty and brightness of it all within or without.

Nicole’s work in English has also appeared in the literature magazine Spillwords Press and “Tranquility: An Anthology of Haiku” published by Literary Revelations. Her poems are shared monthly on the online literary sites, Chewers & Gobblers by Masticadores and MasticadoresRumania. She is currently completing her second poetry collection, which she hopes to release later this year.

Aside from writing, photography is Nicole’s other great love and source of inspiration. A nature enthusiast, when she is not writing, she can be found clicking away, exploring the outdoors and capturing images which she shares on her blogs and photography sites.

    1. Delighted to meet you too, Lauren, and welcome to my blog! 💖 It made me happy to go with the flow of your blog tour, meeting other nice fellow bloggers… and their rich, elegant blogs. Being so focused, or shall I say immersed in dreamy verse-writing and intense photo-taking and posting over these past years, there sure seem to be entire parts of the WordPress blogging community that I wasn’t aware of, so to say. I’m glad I got to discover some of them over the past weekend, it has been a lovely experience! 😊

  1. Hello Ncole.

I just wanted to let you know that i was finally able to post my 5-star review for your books. I feel liek you are the “colorful” poet! anyhow here is a snippet from my update on your featured book post:

The Blues and the Beautiful and Rhyming Dreams, Top strengths for both books? This poet uses colors and sensory words to let you feel her original approach to weaving toegther nature and humanity – and then her photos and hand-selected quotes give her poems framing and depth!”

    1. Thank you kindly, Marsha! I have self-published two poetry books on Amazon so far, hoping to finish and publish the third collection later this year. Again, thank you for your visits.

Also, let me share here a link to my review post of Jan Sikes’ lovely collection, Fringes, Heartstrings and Lyrics, post in which I also shared links both to your review and Lauren’s, as you had suggested, if you may remember. 😊

      1. Lovely review, Nicole, and thanks again for sharing mine and Lauren’s reviews as well. I didn’t remember suggesting that, but My memory is about 2 seconds long. I let the dog out last night at 8:00 after our nightly ride, and promptly went back to my office. Vince woke up at 3:00 asking himself where the dog was and found her asleep on the chair outside. She never let out a sound. Fortunately, it was a beautiful night and we have a very safe backwayrd.

        1. Oh… I understand. The same thing happens to me too sometimes. I don’t usually make shopping lists, but when I do, I leave the house for groceries only to find out that I left the list at home, hm… go figure. 😊 I am glad your dog had a place on the porch or verandah to sleep in at night.
