- The level is called "Twin Towers" because it has a green and a pink tower used as separate paths for Gex to choose to traverse. It is also a reference to the former World Trade Center in New York City, whose main buildings where named the "Twin Towers."
- As mentioned above, there are several ways to complete this level, by choosing either tower to ascend to the exit.
- Despite being the first level in the game, according to its level ID, this was the fourth level created while, Pow! being the first level created due to having the designated level ID, Cartoon1
