Livia (リヴィア, Rivia) is a character in Rune Factory 5.

Personality[]
Livia is mature but can be stern when necessary. She cares deeply for the people of Rigbarth, and on rare occasions, she blushes when she has to openly express her feelings, or when Ares/Alice gives her sweets like Flan, which she greatly appreciates but is ashamed to say openly due to her authoritarian position. She cares deeply for her younger sister Radea, and is passionate about history and reads many books on the subject. When she sees cut horns, she gets depressed and it makes her remember bad events that happened in her past.
Appearance[]
Livia, or Lumenivia, has slightly fair skin and amber colored eyes, with cat-like vertical pupils. She has long blond hair with green tips, and her hair is styled with two braids on each side of her head as well as a simple ponytail in the center. She has pointed ears, however they are obscured on her sprite. Livia is outfitted with the ranger uniform, which includes a purple hat and tie, red armband, and yellow leggings. Unlike Radea, Livia in her human form is quite short. In turn, her uniform appears more loose-fitted. She wears her tie untucked, which shows her more laid-back nature. Livia is the most "human looking" of the two sisters, as she doesn't show off her horns or wings like Radea does. In some instances, she does show her tail which is green in color.
Story[]
At the start of the main story, Livia appoints the player as a new member of SEED. She continues to give the player missions throughout the game. Eventually, she reveals to the player that she's a dragon and helps them stop her sister's attempt to absorb all the runes in the other after she was tricked by Gideon. Livia also aids the player with stopping Gideon's plan to control everyone's will and defeat the Fathomless Dread, the entity that is controlling him.
As Captain, Livia is in charge of handing the player subjugation quests, where targets must be Sealed by the player rather than be defeated. Should these targets be defeated accidentally, the mission automatically fails and refreshes, allowing the player to retake it. Livia initially sends the player out with three targets in the Phoros Woodlands, the Kelve Volcanic Region and the Lake Yumina area. After finishing all the targets, she will give the player three random enemies to seal with random rewards. If all three are completed within the day, Livia gives the player an additional reward of a Golden Dragon Claw and Golden Scale.
Relationships[]
Livia actually has good relations with all the inhabitants of Rigbarth, and when they have problems, they often come to her.
She has a close relationship with her sister Radea, who, without her, cannot absorb the runes and, in turn, cannot transform into Lumenivia without worrying about time constraints.

Livia asks the protagonist to talk to Eliza about directives. The protagonist upgrades their bag (from 30 to 45 slots) and is gifted 1000 SEED points to organize a festival.

- Livia was the wife of the Roman emperor Augustus throughout his reign, as well as his adviser.
- Livia is a name of Spanish origin meaning "blue" or envious".
- Livia has the same birthday as Julia in Rune Factory 2.
- Livia has a very similar role to Ventuswill: she always stays in a certain place and doesn't move from there, but with the difference that you can't invite her to your party, not even with directives.
- Lumenivia is the only one of the 6 Dragon Gods who does not fight.
- She seems to like drinking but has problems going into places due to her stature much to her chagrin.
- Hina references Livia in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, mentioning that she is still a Captain and is still based in Rigbarth.
- In the game's Datamine, Livia was supposed to be a potential marriage candidate with her wedding lines already voiced, but it was decided not to do so.
