Randolph (ランドルフ, Randorufu, Randolph^[1]) is a character in Rune Factory 5.

Until you are formally introduced to him he is known as "Bearded Grandpa".

Profile[]

Personality[]

Randolph is a kind and patient man. When his wife Yuki inherited the bakery from her parents, he began his career as a baker. He was once a great adventurer and had many adventures. Randolph told of one where he encountered a monster that scared him to death and left him with a scar on his face. In that moment between life and death, he learned true courage. Sometimes he goes out on another adventure, but he doesn't want to tell Yuki so as not to worry her, even though she's known about it for a long time. Despite his age, he still has plenty of strength, having managed to beat Darroch and Murakumo in arm wrestling. He's also a very helpful man; he helped Beatrice bake bread and always gives good advice to everyone.

Appearance[]

Randolph has fair skin, shoulder-length white hair, and matching colored beard. His face has a thin white scar and he is always seen with his eyes closed.

Story[]

He meets the player at the start of the main story and can sell various types of bread to them.

Relationships[]

Randolph and his wife Yuki are loved and respected by everyone, who calls them Grandpa or Grandma. Radea, however, cannot speak calmly with Randolph because of his scar.
