On Wednesday 1 July, after a pause of one month, the state evicted several living places of people on the move in Calais near the hospital center.
The next day, Thursday 2 July, around 10 vans of police – along with officials from the prefecture and outsourced “cleaning” and demolition companies (Delbende) – returned. On Tuesday, June 16, in Rome and other cities, new police raids hit the anarchist movement, with seven arrest warrants against as many comrades, 5 preventive detentions in prison and 2 house arrests with electronic bracelets, searches throughout Italy (including La Vampa in Naples), and the eviction of the Bencivenga Occupato social center in Rome. The main charge is the now classic “association for terrorist purposes” (270-bis). In addition, two comrades were arrested for the new crime of “terrorism by words” for possession of some pamphlets found during the searches.
Although the information disclosed by the media is scarcer and incomplete than usual, it is clear that the investigation revolves around a number of acts of sabotage of railway lines, in particular the one carried out on February 14 on the Rome-Florence line, against the Cortina 2026 War Olympics. The police in Amsterdam, together with the magistrate, successfully managed to circumvent the right to fair trial, and evicted a squat in Amsterdam north.
Housing crisis
We are in the middle of a housing crisis. Everyone’s working their asses off, and nobody has money for a house. A studio apartment in the city costs 2k per month. A house for less than half a million you won’t even find in a village in Groningen where the ground shakes occasionally.
Social housing cooperatives, with the task of housing the population, still opt for the sale of social rent apartments. Overdue maintenance is order of the day. “Above the sorrow and anger, we had the solidarity of all the people”
The community space located in the building of the former Arcis University was closed this Tuesday after a court order in favor of the company Tecnored. Cultural workshops were given in the space, and shortly before they were expelled, a solidarity dining room, a radio and an editorial space had been set up, activities that brought together more than 200 people weekly in the Almendral neighborhood.
Members of the initiative spoke with El Arrebato, and assured that despite the fact that “the community is saddened”, the “desire to sustain and continue” with the project persists.
Valparaíso lost again. This Tuesday, May 12, the special forces of the Carabineros evicted the Espacio Katarcis, a self-managed center that had been squatted in 2019. Call for actions in solidarity with Prosfygika on the 5th of April for the internationalist defense of the Community of Squatted Prosfygika
In June 2025 the Regional Government of Attica (which Athens belongs to) approved a programmatic contract for the “renovation” and the evacuation of the Community of Squatted Prosfygika, where more than 400 people live. 53 days ago, on February 5th, our comrade Aristotelis Chantzis started a hunger strike until death for the defense of the Community, for the defense of life. Soon in the next weeks, a second comrade will follow and start a hunger strike. Several weeks of actions in Athens and internationally have passed. The opening of the Community to the broader society, in Greece and internationally, is to build toward its social self-defense. This opening includes a full events program, a weekly open assembly, guest houses for cancer patients of the nearby Agios Savas hospital, and construction works to renovate houses, create more hospital guest housing, and the construction of the civil war museum. During the summer of 2025, secretly, the Region of Attica, through a programmatic agreement, initiated the planning for the repression and eviction of the Community of the Squatted on Alexandras Avenue.
With the beginning of 2026, it set in motion the new phase of its plan, using paid articles by government mouthpieces and promoting of all the steps that foresee for the violent eviction of the Community of Prosfygika within the next six months and – as usual – a major feast of public money. Come to the Gisi Stays demo on December 20, 2025, 14:00 at the main station in Winterthur, Switzerland.
As some of you might have heard already, the Stefanini foundation for art, culture and history (SKKG) wants to evict Gisi (General-Guisan-Str. 31, Winterthur), the probably oldest squat in Switzerland, in February 2026.
All negotiation attempts to keep the house ours, alive and lived in uncommercially and self-organized have failed at the unwillingness of the foundation.
Especially SKKG, that preaches art, culture and history, wants to destroy exactly this.
Because in the past 28 years, numerous artists have given Gisi artistic diversity by organizing different workshops, concerts and events.
Over the decades many people have always lived at Gisi, permanently and temporarily. Gisi means affordable housing for many, that don’t have anything. [Read More]
On Friday 7 November, we squatted Sint Jacobsdwarsstraat 6, owned by Stadsgoed N.V., through Stadsgoed Monumenten B.V. The same company owns or owned the former windows on the Dollebijnensteeg in the Red Light District that were squatted by Mokum Kraakt in 2024. They were also the owners of Rokin 116 when it was squatted and re-squatted in 2003. After the first eviction, the gemeente gave Stadsgoed a €50 million mortgage to renovate the building and turn it into expensive housing for sale, even though the company had no money.
Stadsgoed grew out of the woningcorporatie Het Oosten, which through a merger later became Stadgenoot. The company’s purpose was to buy properties from the criminal underworld — in collaboration with the geemente — and increase the liveability of the city. For anyone who needs a translation from property-market-speak, liveability here means higher rents, soulless touristshops, more hotels with extortionate prices. And of course, happy, rich speculants. On the 4th of december 2025 we had a court case regarding our occupation of the Varkensstal, on the Van Schuylenburgweg 20 in Nijmegen. This ended in us making an agreement with the owners of the building, based on which we will leave the building on the 1st of february, provided the building is brought into use shortly after that.
As part of that agreement we will also pay the costs of gas, water and electricity, as well as allowing the owner access into the building for inspection and research, provided they give advance warning.
Sadly, part of the agreement was also that we would no longer hold events in the building, we were very excited to do something nice for the neighbourhood, and we hope that sometime in the future we will still be able to. [Read More]

Everyone sees it with their own eyes: life, the city, generally interactions in this society are becoming more and more shitty. Kicking down is back in again. The Left (Die Linke Bewegung) is no longer a sufficiently strong force that can counter this with a positive vision. Nevertheless, Habersaathstraße 46 has been available as a squatted house as a living space for 4 years now. Without contract or agreement.
The owner Arcadia Estates, managed and owned by a certain Andreas Pichotta, has noticeably increased the pressure in recent months. While we at Habersaathstraße 46 don’t give a damn about the numerous eviction lawsuits, to say the least, the district heating supply and thus the heating has been discontinued. Groups of thugs on behalf of Pichotta demolish individual apartments in the neighboring houses and the block is apparently to be systematically made uninhabitable this winter. [Read More]
