Manchester indie rock/indie pop/alt pop band Blossoms have dropped their shimmering new single “Meet Me In Love” and its accompanying music video.
The song, is out now via the band’s own label ODD SK Recordings and Distiller Music and follows their single “Joke About Divorce”, released in April. Buy it here.
With ‘Meet Me In Love’, featuring backing vocals from Declan McKenna, Blossoms continue their run of dance floor-ready releases. Frontman and chief songwriter, Tom Ogden, has a habit of producing unconventional love songs and relationships viewed from unusual angles.
Blossoms take Myles Kellock’s glistening synth-driven rhythms to the next level with skyward melodies. Strap in for a feel-good summer vibe.
The video, directed by Ogden, depicts the Stockport band performing in front of an enthusiastic, sparkling Maya Jama (TV presenter and Love Island host). The dark exterior of a large room, reminiscent to an empty club, is laden with flashing lights and shining mirrorballs.
