Olivia jerks awake in the crib, gritty-eyed but fully alert. She always is, anymore.
"Relax," Elliot says. "It's me."
She sighs and throws an arm over her head. "It time?"
"You've got another hour." Carefully, he sits on the edge of the bunk, and that's when Olivia realizes they're not alone. "Kathy brought him by. Thought he'd be good stress relief for the squad."
He doesn't ask if she wants him. Doesn't need to. Just shifts the warm, slight weight of his infant son onto her chest.
Olivia exhales a shaky breath. "Thank you," she whispers, teary eyes squeezing closed.
