devilcFucking Meta and Facebook, where you can't reach out to an actual person with a question or get actual help.
My husband's account locked during the facebook crash yesterday. He can't get logged in. The texts aren't getting to his phone. Yes, we've checked, he's not blocking any senders, there is nothing in his spam folder.
He can't do "try another way" because Facebook is locked out on all his devices -- his phone, his computer, his tablet. he can't see anything sent to those devices.
He can't do account recovery because, well, that involves accessing Facebook on one of those devices, which he can't do.
We wish there was some way we could say, can you email a code to him? But no. You can't get an actual person to help you anymore at Meta.
I am getting ready to scream, because Facebook? That is his sole social media platform, and I'm having to deal with an understandingly cranky and frustrated man who is cut off from the joy of interacting with the EDM community and friends around the world.
