Favourite for December

Just to prove it doesn't always have to be about red bottoms (as long as there's plenty of that as well!). I'm sure this girl is actually very attractive but right now her looks are not her concern - the distress and pain showing through her face means that you are left in no doubt that she has been given a jolly good hiding and is now regretting her behaviour.

This will be my last post for at least two weeks so wishing everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year.  See you in 2012.

A seasonal reminder

It's a long time since last Christmas so I thought I should remind folk, should you have to deal with any naughty behaviour over the festive season, a short branch cut from a fresh Christmas tree can be a most useful implement.  Nicely whippy and flexible yet strong, and with pine needles to add a certain extra merry sting.  Replace the Ho Ho Ho of Christmas with Ow Ow Ow!

Favourite for November

Something different this month - I've done a few "before" shots because I love the looks of trepidation and anticipation but this month for a classy "after" shot.

The Rigid East / Lupus stable produces a rather mixed repertoire of movies but for me their classic domestic and school scenarios have often had something really special about them.   This scene from their classic Crime In The St Thomas School is practically unique on having no less than twelve schoolgirls given hard bare bottom paddlings with a wooden paddle one after another for their share in the offence.

I was really musing  this question

"If a man puts a girl over his knee and spanks her bottom while someone else takes a photograph, who has creative rights/copyright on the results?

a) The spanker (responsible for the red patterning produced)
b) The girl
c) The photographer"

and I hinted that it could be argued that the creativity came from the spanker (for the reason given in brackets above) not the photographer, and certainly not from the girl.  It wasn't meant to be serious but I did publish one sane and serious response.  I didn't publish the others who thought I was denying women's rights, etc.

I humbly admit it would have been better if I had not used a named real person as an example - hence the deletion.  To me, of course, the girl is the very essence of the image and I'm not saying that acting or modelling is not a creative role.  I wish I'd never mentioned it.

Favourite for October

Not much that needs to be said here -  a classic picture on the lines of "Just you wait until your father gets home" - it looks like it could be a long wait with a very unhappy conclusion.

A touch of bondage

I'm not really into the BDSM end of things as a matter of course, but occasionally there is something I see that gets a reaction.  This image is definitely unusual - although actually not all that good as it is right here.  What it's good for is the idea behind it - the idea of being taped to wall provides the potential for a truly original punishment scenario.  What I'd like to see is rather less clothing but the girl fastened to the wall in a not dissimilar position to this with her feet well off the ground before she's given a good hard spanking or strapping across her bottom.  Anyone up for shooting this scenario?

High flying

I used to write quite a lot of CP fiction but in recent times I've been struggling to write creatively.  However, very recently, I had a long flight and was fortunate to be in Business Class.  The flight wasn't busy so after take-off I was able to move so as to have nobody seated next to me and it seemed a good opportunity to do some writing - laptop out, shrink the magnification so I can just read the text on screen, reload a half written story - the rest of the flight was very happily occupied.  I wonder what my fellow passengers would have thought if they'd known?

Favourite for September

In a week that has seen the publication of a major survey in the UK that showed practically 50% of parents of 20% of schoolkids think it would be beneficial to bring back corporal punishment in schools, I thought this was an appropriate image.

It seems to me to convey potentially a very authentic image of what it may have been like for a schoolgirl to get caned on her bottom - I know it would have always been an incredibly rare even but showing it from this angle it's perfectly possible that her skirt hasn't been turned up or her panties lowered - the movement of the cane suggests some degree of force being applied and the expression on the girl's face confirms her anguish. No attractive young girl could really want to see pictures of her face looking like that but clearly the pain of the caning is the only thought on her mind at this moment.

I'm not sure of the source or the model - looks like it might be from the Xerotics stable perhaps?

Blue Mile

Gordon Sergeant

Simply astonishing that this news didn't get greater prominence in our community:-

Gordon Sergeant, British Spanking Magazine Publisher, Dies          

LONDON—Gordon Sergeant, the founder of soft porn Janus magazine and its accompanying bookstore on Old Compton Street, died in May at the age of 83. Sergeant launched Janus in 1972 as a traditional publication narrowly focused on the practice of spanking. Still in print and online, Janus continues to feature articles, photographs, illustrations and comic strips, including by such artists as Anton, Hardcastle and Lynn Paula Russell, aka Paula Meadows.

The Janus website, which was redesigned in March, contains a statement posted May 11 on the passing of Sergeant, who died peacefully in his sleep in London.

“It is with the deepest regret that we must inform you of the death of Gordon Sergeant,” the statement reads. “Many of you will have happy memories of Gordon and appreciate the tireless efforts he made during his life to champion the rights of free minded adults to enjoy the pleasures of corporal punishment. …

“Gordon suffered a series of strokes and realising that his time on this earth was short, appointed his nephew, Tarquin, to oversee a dramatic new era for Janus,” the statement concludes. “His vision was to re-launch Janus onto the internet to reach further than ever before. Tarquin already has many exciting plans including new Janus videos, an exclusive club and parties. Gordon died peacefully in his sleep safe in the knowledge that his beloved creation will continue to prosper in the 21st century.”

A sad passing - I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling that I owe a huge debt to JANUS for helping me explore my early understanding of spanking fetish, and through the magazine and the wonderful shop come to appreciate that my interests - while not exactly mainstream - did not make me some sort of freak of nature and that many others shared my interests.

RIP Gordon.

What happened next?

There's a long running sports quiz on UK television with one regular round where they show a video of some sporting action and then freeze the picture and the teams have to either remember or try to work out what happened next.

It strikes me that you can actually try this with still images as well.  For example this picture of Italian model and TV personality Alessia Fabiani on a beach greeting her boyfriend (presumably) who's been playing a game with some of his friends while he waited for her.

When a school in an American state often crticised for over-use of corporal punishment tries a different approach they seem to end up looking dafter than ever - I just happened across this report recently and assume nobody could have made it up:-

A Texas girl was overheard saying "are you trying to start shit" to another student. She was sent to the principals office, given lunch detention, and then the next day fined $637. She's taken on a waitressing job to pay the fine.

Is this what passes for progress?

Sometimes the moment I see one image I have an entire story in my head about what's happening and this is an example of just such a case.

"It wasn't the first time Jodie had been in trouble for being rude and answering back to a teacher - she's been snet to the head once before about it.  He'd given her a real dressing down and almost had her in tears.  Now she was being sent back again she at least felt she knew what to expect and thought she'd handle it better.  On the other hand she needed to appear a bit upset and contrite - she didn't want him writing to her mother or giving her a detention because then it would be hard to prevent her mother finding out that she'd been in trouble.  She knew it wasn't going to be much fun but she can handle it and on a positive note it had got her out of double maths that she hated.

She reported to the headmaster's secreary as instructed - the secretary checked a note in the diary, ticked an entry and then opened a desk drawer.  In the next seconds, Jodie's life seemed to come apart as the secretary took out a thick lather strap and held it out to the shocked girl.  She told Jodie to take it with her and have a seat outside his office and that he'd call her in when he was ready for her.

Jodie did as she was told in silence but her legs were shaking.  She'd never thought of the possibility of gettting the strap and now it seemed to be a certainty. She'd never actually heard of another girl getting the strap although she knew a few lads had got it in the past.  What would it be like?  Would she be able to cope?  Would he write to her mother to inform her that he'd had to strap her daughter?  Would the other pupils in her class find out?  She realised she wasn't even sure how he used the strap - presumably it was on the hands rather than the bottom?  She wasn't sure at all.  She had nearly an hour to sit there waiting in mounting anxiety before he called her in...."

After the London riots...

"Right young lady!  Now, I understand from your mother that you were out rather late last night.  She also tells me that when you finally came home you had a pair of new trainers, some new earrings and other jewellery and a half empty bottle of white wine.  I know it was the wrong night for late-night shopping so I'm going to need an explanation from you right now.  You'd better think of a good account of how this situation came about, or else I'll tell you what I think has been going on here.  And if my version comes out as the more likely, then I've got someone here waiting to deal with you..."

Marked Butts

I only came across the Marked Butts website recently but I'm amazed it isn't much better known - it seems to have some really great original material with a distinctive style.

The girls are pretty good looking - not typical glamour models perhaps but certainly the girl-you-wished-lived-next-door looks.  They tend to be slim, tend to be late teens or early twenties and there are no attempts to use uniforms, or hairstyles or anything to suggest they are anything other than what they really are.

They are contemporary and authentic using a mixture of relationships between the girl being punished and her punisher - the latter can be parents, boyfriends, older sisters, roommates or whatever.  The clothing is just the sorts of things girls like that wear today.  Some punishments (like this) are over clothing but many are over just knickers or bare bottoms and those bottoms do get turned from very pale to very red.

The reactions of the girls suggest they are really being punished - they can't keep still and they cry real tears and beg.  I've never understood why some CP websites seem to confuse the (essential) need to have the consent of the girl with the (non-essential) idea that they have to be seen to be enjoying it - at least when you're claiming to show a punishment.

This is definitely not one of those sites when you think it's all being staged for the camera and he's not really hitting her properly - these girls get long and very hard real chastisements that would have left them feeling very sore indeed.

There are a number that claim to show girls having their first ever experience of a spanking like the delightful Raynette shown on the left here.  Well, if that is true, I think some of them must have found the experience to be quite a shock.  Maybe they confused the idea of s spanking with a child getting an odd swat from a parent and imagined at their age it wouldn't be something that would trouble them.  Instead they are subjected to long and very much "meant to hurt" punishment.

I wonder whether some of these girls were perhaps hard-up students who came across a way to make a bit of extra money without doing anything too "adult" in nature and thought it would either be a bit of a laugh of at least something with no lingering effects.  If so, I bet that many ended up regretting ever signing that consent form as they discovered what a proper spanking was really like - that could explain why many don't seem to appear in more than one video!

Favourite for July

I came across this quite recently and I'm afraid I don't know the original source so I can't give credit where it's due (anyone help me there?).

It's a classic shot of a "schoolgirl" who has clearly messed up big time and is in for more than just a spanking from her angry father.

The scenario in my mind is she's be sent home from school - suspended for the rest of the week - the head has spoken to her parents by phone about her appalling behaviour and her mother has told her to wait in this position for her father who'll be home shortly to deal with her.  Both parents regret that the school isn't allowed to just giver her the caning she deserves rather than make her miss valuable school, but they're about to make up for this shortcoming of the modern education system in their own way.  Up on tiptoes and with the top of the chair uncomfortably pressing on her stomach, yet those discomforts that are a long way from uppermost in her mind as she wonders just what she's going to get and how long he's going to make her wait to find out.

Off the ground

One of the rather more quirky aspects of my spanking obsession is when the spankee is made more helpless by being totally lifted off the ground - it's not just the simple and conventional sort of OTK scene where the spankees feet end up off the ground (although I do I like those as well!) but the sort where the spanker has applied a very definite lifting action.

For example...

Where the spanker managed to get his spankee into a position that looks like OTK until you realise that he's standing up, or... 

where, by putting his foot up on a stool has meant that she's quite a good height off the ground and absolutely powerless and lastly the quite cute...

where he has simply picked her up so her feet are of the ground and she's going nowhere.

Favourite for June

Well May 2011 is going to be a month I'd sooner forget but hopefully things are returning to normal. This month's favourite really makes me smile.

In my younger schooldays, being made to stand on a chair was not an uncommon response to minor classroom misbehaviour - I suppose it was supposed to shame you into being good and temporarily make it more difficult to disturb others, so the idea of this girl - who looks more like 6th form material - being shamed by a childish punishment is rather good.  Secondly, she's clearly a sporting type and in my experience they were often prone to getting into more trouble. Finally her bottom fills out those tight shorts very nicely and if she's about to get into more trouble for turning round without permission, I'm sure a good hard spanking across her seat would be called for before she's returned to stand on the chair for the remainder of the class. The stinging in her bottom would serve as a useful reminder not to turn around again.

Favourite for April

Following on from my last rant, I thought this would make a good favourite for April.  Taken from Janus 62 this photostory featured one of the most credible schoolgirl canings they ever ran.

Marjorie Jenkins looked every bit the cute petite teenage schoolgirl she was meant to represent - she was dressed properly for school and appeared genuinely frightened to find herself in the headmaster's office for a caning which she had clearly never experienced before.  The headmaster was stern and unrelenting - she had to bend over properly without even the benefit of a table or chair back to help her, and her short skirt was moved out of the way.  This wasn't one of those scenes with lots of not very hard cane strokes - he gave her a straightforward traditional six of the best that had her fighting back the tears.  He then humiliated her further by making her take her knickers down so he could see the effect of the caning and then ordered her to get out of the office.  There's a great image of her looking very tearful running for door - something I can't recall seeing in any other similar photo sequence.  It's short (one the the perceived benefits of corporal punishment in school for both sides was that it was quickly over with) and she played the role superbly.  Having just dug out the relevant back issue I'll post a lower resolution version of the full sequence in a day or so.

Little things that go wrong in CP Movies

Like many (not all) who are into the CP scene, I have a particular liking for schoolgirl themes. Okay, let’s get the usual disclaimers out of the way – I do not want to see real underage schoolgirls being given corporal punishment – I’m talking about consenting adults dressing as and role playing situations with a school based theme. In the great scheme of things that might be classed as a minority kink, but it clearly isn’t a small minority given the amount of photo and video material in the category that is out there.

There’s enough to cater for a diverse range of tastes within the genre. My own personal liking is for maximum realism – that probably does put me into a very tiny minority because, for example, if the scene is depicting a head teacher punishing a naughty girl, I’d prefer the punishment to be administered to her normally clothed. I’m happy to accept that if she’s wearing a very short skirt and has to bend over, the punishment might be on her knickers but I’d prefer her not to be made to take the knickers down at the time. There’s plenty of scope for her going off to the loos afterwards to pull them down to take a look at the damage, or getting a follow up punishment at home where it is a little more credible that she might be punished on the bare.

I accept, as I’ve already said, that puts me into a very small minority and I’m not pretending I can’t enjoy scenes where the girl gets her punishment bare bottom. There are a number of other little details that, from my perspective, reduce the authenticity of the scene. For example...

• “Schoolgirls” being punished in the headmaster’s office wearing stiletto heels – in the real world, I’ve seen some quite daring takes on school uniforms in terms of shortness of skirts, unfastened blouse buttons etc. but stilettos? Give me a break!
• “Schoolgirls” being punished in the headmaster’s office who have turned up with no shoes on at all. Okay, so if you’re going to put a girl over you knee for a spanking you don’t want a kick in the face for your troubles but at least make her remove the shoes.
• “Schoolgirls” with tattoos – I’m no fan of tattoos anyway, but if a girl has very obvious tattoos then maybe they should be in a different scenario to the schoolgirl one.
• Smoke drifting in front of the camera lens because the cameraman is smoking – it’s possibly even worse than the odd stray intervention from a microphone or a second camera.
• Spankees who bare their bottom for a punishment and it’s already showing the marks from a recent punishment although there hasn’t been one in the story. To me, that’s just lazy film making. If you want people to buy a video, pay the girl enough that she can “rest” for long enough before the day of the shoot that she’s not still bearing the marks from the last one.
• Caners who hold the cane half way along – if you want it to hurt less, use a shorter cane. It’s just poor technique.
• A similar issue when the caner delivers strokes that travel barely six inches and wouldn’t hurt a fly. That was never the idea of a head teacher or teacher giving a caning to a recalcitrant pupil.
• Caners who give the girl a warm-up spanking first, for much the same reason. In real life in schools they did not really want to be kind and make it easy. Of course, if they were going to make it more realistic by caning over underwear at least, they could give a warm-up off-camera and we’d be none the wiser
• Teachers, and most especially head teachers, who are in casual dress. Of course some teachers do go to work dressed more casually – the trouble is that they’re likely to be the more progressive ones who don’t believe in corporal punishment in the first place.

There are ways around many of these by including an explanation in the plot – for example of why the figure of authority happens to not be formally dressed on this occasion, or how the girl’s bottom is marked because her father thrashed her last night. But just ignoring the issues lessens the credibility.

Good old Facebook

It isn't the story I responded to with this one - rather sad really that someone has probably thrown away his career and reputation like this.  What I liked was the after the headline DOCTOR ACCUSED OF SMACKING PATEINTS' BOTTOMS, Facebook has usefully added a button inviting you to be the first of your friends to recommend this.  I have to say, I don't - I really don't!

Nearly two weeks of being able to access virtually nothing - so much for getting around government restrictions by using a proxy server;  all the ones I know had been blocked as well.  Couldn't even access my own blog.  Very annoying.

World Wide Access

I am always fascinated by the information on the left hand side of my blog showing where visitors have come from - especially when somewhere new and unexpected pops up - a warm welcome to that viewer from Azerbaijan!  It's the odd ones that appear from time to time who most feel rather lonely with their spanking interests normally and for whom the web is perhaps the only way they can connect to fellow spankos - I can see visitors from places as diverse as Libya and Vatican City, or Iran and Burkino Faso.

Next week I'm off on a business trip to a part of the world where Internet access is quite tightly restricted and censored but it's good to see a few people from that country have made it through to my blog - there is hope I won't be totally cut off!  My last trip abroad took me to a developing country that I've never been to before - in the first hotel I logged into my blog and sure enough up popped recognition that a new visitor from that country had viewed it.  However when I moved on to a different city and a different hotel, when I logged in, nothing showed about a new visitor - I can only assume that someone else staying at that hotel in the past has viewed my blog from there - very strange feeling.

Favourite for February

I suspect very strongly this one doesn't even come from a spanking series of photos - more likely just a more conventional porn site.  I think spankos will see this as a golden opportunity that may - sadly - have been wasted.  A very attractive young lady, great figure, obviously being naughty with her boyfriend...

And a very good illustration of why I have a really strong liking for tights (pantyhose for you Americans) in preference to suspenders and stockings.  And I can tell you, if I was that girls boyfriend, the very next thing to happen would be a very hard spanking on her backside before the tights came off as well.

Forests

In the UK the state (i.e. us) own some large areas of natural and ancient woodland.  Presently our government is contemplating raising revenue by either:-

a) Leasing them to private companies while ensuring that they protect the ordinary rights of those who use the forests for recreational purposes, OR

b) Sell them to private companies who will want to solely exploit their commercial potential and will put up barriers to recreational access.

The government say they want the first option so - judging by their track record for telling the truth - they'll go for the second one.  Now is the time to protest!

What better environment for some serious spanking fun? Relatively safe from prying eyes (just that frisson of danger that some ramblers might stumble upon you), so long as you're careful no worries about being overheard and if the spanker's hand gets sore or the one cane you've taken along gets accidently damaged there's a plentiful supply of organic, renewable and recyclyable implements readily available.  Not sure how is best to put this argument to the government but if they saw these pictures they'd get the idea.

A Survey of Rewards and Punishments in Schools

While - of course - I don't want to see websites depicting non-consensual punishments of under-age girls, I do enjoy video and photos that use consensual performers of legal age portraying realistic school themed scenarios.  The ones that work best for me are almost invariably the ones that have most credibility.  The problem is that, as the era when corporal punishment was used in British schools becomes more and more distant and the the Internet gets filled with ever more fantasies about schoolgirl punishments that purport to be "true" (and I have no problem with ones that set out to be pure fantasy) so it's getting harder to to be sure what would have passed for real.

Enter A Survey of Rewards and Punishments in Schools - a scholarly piece of research published in 1952 and a copy of which, by good fortune, has come into my possession.  Over the next few weeks as I make my way through it I'll be posting some of the key findings on here so those with an interest in these things should keep an eye on it.

Favourite for January

This is one I've only ever come across as a standalone image rather than part of a series so I've had to let my imagination loose on what we're seeing.

I imagine the girl is phoning her boyfriend to explain that her father had been quite cross about her coming home so late last night but as usual she'd manged to talk him 'round and he hadn't grounded her or anything so they'd be able to go out again at the weekend.
